Camping
We have set twelve Campsites in the Lodge grounds amid the lush undergrowth and under the shade of the wonderful old Leadwood and Jackalberry trees by the Kunene River. Most enjoy a location directly overlooking the river. Live close to nature and as rough or as comfortably as you choose, but with all the facilities of Kunene River Lodge nearby.
Campsite Facilities include :-
- Braai (barbecue) area
- Separate communal ablution blocks for men and women
- Each block has 4 WCs, 4 hot & cold showers, washbasins
General Information for Guests using the Campsites :-
- Guests are requested to refrain from making noise after 22:00
- Our laundry service is not normally available for Campers
- Restaurant meals by special request – subject to availability
Self-Catering Rooms
Indulge in our spacious luxury Self Catering Units. Each unit has a Spacious Bedroom with Twin Beds and a working top will make your stay comfortable and rejuvenating. Each Unit is fitted with a fully functioning kitchen including utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware for 2 People.
Self-Catering units include:-
- Air Conditioning and en-suite shower and toilet
- Outside Braai (Barbecue) area
- Inside and outside dining / sitting areas are available, set in a private secluded setting.
A-Frame
Our A-Frames are neat and cozy tented Rooms. Each Room can accommodate 2 guests at a time and comprises 1 bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with Twin Beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
A-Frame Rooms include:
- en-suite shower and toilet
- Coffee Station and mini-Fridge.
Deluxe
Our air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms each has a Spacious Bedroom with Twin Beds and en-suite Shower and toilet. All but one have a anteroom with Table and Chairs and are equipped with a Coffee Station and Fridge. Each Room has a Private Terrace equipped with outside furniture to enjoy the surroundings under lush indigenous Trees or to just relax and enjoy a good book.
Deluxe Rooms include:
- Air Conditioning and en-suite shower and toilet
- Outside Terrace with Chairs
- Coffee Station and Fridge
